ToK 1 D & G:you are finishing up with the unit on the arts as a way of knowing, after giving your presentations we will visit the IB1 art exhibition.

IBSL2 IB Psy H: You have completed the section major depressive disorder and we are now looking at treatments. Pay attention to the info on this blog about the upcoming mock exam.
ToK 2 D & G: You have now submitted and uploaded your final ToK essays, well done!
IB SL1 Psy B & F: You have been introduced to the Cognitive LOA, and learnt about schema theory, you are now completing your lab on the models of memory.
IBSL2 IB Psy H: You have completed the section on bulimia nervosa and we will then focus on major depressive disorder before examining the different treatments for abnormal behavior.
ToK 2 D & G: You have had feedback on your TOK essay drafts, and you are now working on finishing them. Deadline is Thursday 23rd of February.
IB SL1 Psy B & F: We finished looking at Genetics & Behavior and you completed an LAQ on that. You will have the seminar on the General Learning outcomes of the Bio LOA that before we start the Cognitive LOA
IBSL2 IB Psy H: We have finished Abnormal Psychology section on ‘Concepts and diagnosis’ and you will have an LAQ assessment on that on Thursday 9th of February.
ToK 2 D & G: You have completed your outlines, and refined knowledge issues for the TOK essay, your drafts are due on Friday 10th February.
Welcome back to the second semester!
IB SL1 Psy B & F: We have been looking at Genetics & Behavior for the last two weeks. You will have an assessment on that before we start the Cognitive LOA.
IBSL2 IB Psy H: You completed your SAQs on Cultural Norms, and we have started the Abnormal Psychology section, first focusing on how we can define abnormality.
ToK 2 D & G: We have completed the History unit now its time to start writing the TOK essay.

IB SL1 Psy B & F: You have completed the topic of stress and are working on brain imaging technologies. After the break we will look at evolutionary theories.
IBSL2 IB Psy H: we have worked on defining culture and cultural norms, and you also examined cultural dimensions. On your return you will discuss ‘emic’ and ‘etic’ concepts, and the general learning outcomes for the Sociocultural LOA. We will then start the Abnormal Psychology course.
ToK 1 D & G: You have completed the unit on Emotion on a Way of Knowing, and you will return to ToK in the 4th Quarter.
